Meet Dr. Heim

Dr. Somer Heim is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Heim grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma. She attended dental school at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduating in 2008. Following dental school, Dr. Heim served in the United States Air Force for three years, working as a general dentist at Tinker Air Force Base. Pursuing her passion for pediatric dentistry, Dr. Heim then went on to complete a two-year pediatric residency program at the Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.  She joined Dr. Moody in practice in 2013 upon completion of her training.

Dr. Heim is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Oklahoma Association of Pediatric Dentists, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Oklahoma County Dental Society, and the Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists.  She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the undergraduate pediatric dental program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  She has formerly served as a board member for the Oklahoma County Dental Society, as well as the Editorial Board for the ODA Journal.  

Dr. Heim and her husband Matt, an orthodontist, have 3 young children. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and traveling.  She is also very active in both her church and neighborhood community.
